Chorus Music Like instrumental music, as described in one of my earlier blog posts, chorus music doesn't have any lyrics, or singers, too. But, unlike instrumental music, there are people using their voices. Just, without lyrics. This can be called as vocalizing. Vocalizing is usually when a large group of people come and work together to form their combined voices into a song. In this video, a large group of men in a chorus vocalize. Try it:

Bloggers' Music
In a cafe like Starbucks, or something, they play nice, slow music so people can sit down and work easily. In my first blog post, I mentioned what kind of enviroment certain people need in order to work. (Little fact: This is what my English teacher calls "Bloggers' Music" and Bloggers' Music is usually played by an acoustic guitar.) This type of music has lyrics and everything, but its quieter than usual music and much more calmer too. So, if you go somewhere with this kind of music playing in the store/cafe, that is a nice place to work. Be sure to comment some nice music like this if you want down below too! The Thanksgiving Holiday As you know, Thanksgiving is coming up and we're all thinking about the turkey and food. But, little do we notice, we don't actually give thanks on this day and remember the day it was actually created. So, in this special Thanksgiving blog post, I'm going to put up some facts about the history of Thanksgiving that I bet you didn't know, so take a look at this video:
So, while watching this video, I bet that you didn't know that Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving in the 1860's. If you did, then, this is something that you probably didn't notice. The Native Americans and pilgrims introduced it, and the festival went on for three days! Thanksgiving is a day to be grateful for what we have, to give thanks, to put it another way. Even when we don't get everything we want. So, let's embrace what the founders and leaders of our country created. And give thanks.
A Musical Thanksgiving?
How does music, relate to Thanksgiving, you're probably thinking. Maybe, Thanksgiving music? But actually I wanted to put up music that shows thanks and appreciation to the things we have. And also, autumn music, since Thanksgiving is in fall. So, even though Thanksgiving passed, you can still listen to these songs and think about Thanksgiving. So, here you go! Most video games you know have a melody or music to go with it. Sometimes, you're too wrapped up in the game to notice the playing music. But actually, if you were to imagine the game without melody, then the game would seem boring and meaningless. For those of you who don't play, then notice this on T.V. shows. Or try a new game and see if there's a music inside the game. As you can see, music can be used for anything, as said in one of my earlier blog posts. Classical music isn't like the pop, new music that plays on the radio often. It doesn't have any lyrics, or singers (usually). Also, instrumental music is played with instruments, not with any machinery, or technolody, i don't think. If you have ever played any instrument at all, please comment that in the comments section, so we can see all the different types of instruments there are. Possibly in your old school you did patriotic songs. (You might wonder why all of a sudden I'm focusing on patriotism. Its because of the election that just passed, and I wanted to remind you not to take independence for granted.) Anyways, you did that act of patriotism because you are celebrating America's independence. There is a video in the top-right corner that has a song called "America the Beautiful", which is my favorite patriotic song. Also, if you wanted to say a patriotic song that wasn't played in the video, please enter that in the comments section below. The point of this paragraph was to remind you don't have to only celebrate America's independence on July 4th, but that you can celebrate it anyday, since we all take that for granted. The reason I didn't update my blog and make a post is because of hurricane Sandy. (Sorry about that!) But, usually I only base my blog posts off of music. But this time, I'd also like to take a paragraph to remember the ones that passed because of the hurricane and the lost homes and destruction that also happened. If you'd like to make a shout-out to someone that passed away or who got significantly affected by the storm in the comments section, please do so. But, I think this storm taught us a lesson by giving us black-outs and destruction. I would put up some sad music, but I think that there has been enough sorrow already. Sometimes, dancing without music may seem weird. You may think "You can't dance if there's no music." But actually, you yourself are creating, shaping the music to the movement of your body movement. Some people just need music to move themselves, but others can just shake their hips while doing almost anything! (This information was based off of an actual post in a "dance" blog. (This is the song in the top-right corner.) For the people that need music to dance to, please post an upbeat, cool song to dance to in the comments section. Hip-hop and R&B You may think people only dance hip-hop to rap music. That's not true, actually, because hip-hop dancers only need cool music with a beat, to do their twists and flips, and moves. (Speaking of cool music, I will post daily cool appropriate songs of the week every Friday. If you have any cool songs you want to share, please also type that in the comments section.) As I was saying, if people doing hip-hop need music, they don't really need R&B. They could just do songs with beats or good flow. First off, I want to apologize to Teresa L., because I had incorrectly fulfilled your question. To fufill it now, I will now answer it, correctly. Since Teresa had wanted to know some songs that change your mood from sad to happy, I will give a video that shows some below.
In my opinion, I think that these songs are good for when you're having a bad day, and you really want to be more happy. If any of my readers have any "happy" songs, please list them in the comments section. Since there are happy songs, I want to warn you that sad and inappropriate songs exist, too. And that you should dodge the ones that you think aren't good.
Theme Songs
Did you ever notice that almost every show you watch has a-minute long theme song? That's because the producers of the show want you to remember the show. Let me explain. If their show has a catchy song, it'll get stuck in your head. And every time you'll sing it, you'll be like, "Oh, I have a strange feeling to go watch that show and hear that catchy song again." So their ratings will go higher. Here is a theme song from one of the best shows of ALL time. If you like it, please tell me in the comment section below. So, now, do you realize that! Song Moods One of my viewers wanted to know how a song can change your mood from sad to happy. Well, it can be anything, really! It can be the beat, genre, or just that its a cool song! I actually mentioned that in one of my earlier posts. (If you feel like searching for a good song now, click this link www.youtube.com to do that.) But, I heard about this song that surprises you! Persuasive Music? I always wondered if music can persuade you to do things. Like there's a song on Disney Channel (Fashion is My Kryptonite) And I wonder if that drove people to rummage through their closet after that song.
